Social Ministry

Main Duties:

Coordinate with community social Help agencies. Inform church members, collect and distribute donations for special social needs, such as:

• Community outreach
• Blood drive
• Partnership w/local food kitchen
• Food Pantry on premises
• Books for needy children
• Prison Bible ministry
• Thanksgiving & Christmas baskets
• Christmas Angel tree
• School supplies

Jesus calls us to care for those in our community, inside and outside of our church.

Scripture: Matthew 25:35-36

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.
