Women's Ministries

Growing in Faith and Discipleship:

Gold Circle and Silver Circle - monthly Bible study groups.

Ministry and Action:

Quilting Circle - weekly group sewing and donating quilts to Interfaith, Salvation Army, and Lutheran Relief.

Ecumenical Ministry and Action:

Host the annual Christmas Tea for over 200 women from 25 local churches. Active members in Church Women United.

Promoting Healing and Wholeness:

Rachel’s Day - calling attention to the issue of Children and Violence and supporting a local shelter through a special offering. Thank-offering Sunday - quilt dedication and blessing and a special offering taken to support the national Women of the ELCA’s activities.

As a community of women, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, society, and the world.
