Deacon Suzanne Kuebler, R. N. was raised in the Episcopal Church. She graduated from Benedictine Hospital School of Nursing in 1967 and has enjoyed a varied nursing career, retiring as a nursing supervisor in a 356 bed Lutheran nursing home in New York.

She married George and joined the Lutheran Church. They have 3 children: G. Christopher, Stephen Michael, and Ami Kim. All are married and Chris has 3 children. She served as parish nurse for 1 year at St. Paul Lutheran Church in East Northport, New York after graduating from the diakonia program.

After moving to North Carolina she served as altar guild director, banner committee member, cantor, steering committee for the preschool, wellness committee co-chair and choir member at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ocean Isle Beach.

Suzanne grew up in the mid Hudson Valley in N.Y. and lived on Long Island after marring George. They have traveled extensively to places such as Alaska, Hawaii, China, and Europe. Suzanne has spent vacations on tour with other church members in NY to Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Turkey, Greece and Rome.
